Donaghy Gave Spurs the Championship

Being the Spurs hater that I am, I have excuses for every championship they have ever won.

Heres my excuse for the latest.

And just to throw it out there, Donaghy reffed more Heat games than any other.

Why don't you just post that the NBA Finals were rigged, too. Get over the fact the Mavs SUCK, and celebrate the Spurs CHAMPIONSHIP, like you should be doing. Peace, PUSSY.

Strong words. While i agree that it's pretty incriminating eveidence, even as a Suns fan i'm not ready to say the Spurs were handed the Championship. There was still 7 games, and the Suns still had their chances...

You can't say that him making those calls didn't affect the series. Granted the Suns had their chances, but who knows what would have happened if Donaghy wasn't throwing games.

And as for the Mavs, they may have choked away the championship, but they kicked the shit out of the Spurs

Good for the Mavs. When i was a little kid, i had a red bike. That has about as much relevance as your comment of saying "your" Mavs kicked the shit out of S.A. Win a championship sometime in the next 600 years, and then you can talk trash. Until then, enjoy your stellar regular season, and then come playoff time have fun getting the piss kicked out of your team and your dreams of them ever winning anything of relevance.

Peace, HOMEY

I guess the whole subject must have struck a nerve. Jordan went to the playoffs every year and "choked" agianst the Pistons, how many people bring that up now.

Your the one that brought "my Mavs" into this. I think deep down inside you know the Spurs are a bunch of heartless little girls and had the championship handed to them.

Championship handed to them? By who, GOD? They kicked the crap out of Cleveland. I guess you're going to say that the Mavs getting the piss knocked out of them was rigged too. At least as a Spurs fan, i'll know we will never lose to an 8 seed. Hell of an MVP performance, DICK. Oops, i mean DIRK.

Last time I checked the Mavs didn't choke away a 3-0 lead to the Lakers.

What is the toughest team the Spurs have ever played in the playoffs? The Cavs? The Knicks? The Pistons? Utah? Portland? Denver? Give me a break.

Anytime a series gets close they fold, they have had the 4 easiest playoff runs in the History of the NBA.

The closest thing the Spurs have had to a clutch playoff performance is called the "Memorial Day Miracle"

Only true haters* can deny this Spurs team their (3-time-champion) greatness. In an 82 game season and four rounds of playoffs, one game reffed by one crooked ref who didn't fix games but merely messed with spreads is pretty much a drop in the bucket.

I hate Duncan and the Spurs with the best of 'em, but I'm not denying their greatness.
