Owens practices for first time since injuring ankle
Terrell Owens took a significant step toward playing Sunday when he practiced for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain three weeks ago.

Contract extension for Tampa's Graham?
Given the uncertain status of running back Cadillac Williams, who isn't expected to be ready for the start of the 2008 season, it seems the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are taking steps to lock up Earnest Graham according to the St. Petersburg Times.

General manager Bruce Allen saidhe has spoken to Graham's agent and appeared likely to address the player's contract.

Graham is under contract through the end of 2008, but his modest $605,000 salary probably doesn't match his workload (or value) to the Bucs after his meteoric rise in 2007. Graham had 898 yards, 10 touchdowns and averaged 4.0 yards per carry in leading the Bucs in rushing.

Owens: "Get your popcorn ready''
Terrell Owens isn't allowing any gray area regarding his status for Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game against the New York Giants according to the Dallas Morning News.

"I'm going to play," the Dallas Cowboys receiver told the NFL Network's Deion Sanders, who asked what level Owens will play at. "At a high level. I'm not worried about nothing," Owens responded before adding his trademark line, "Get your popcorn ready."

Owens' comments ended a day of wild speculation at Valley Ranch. All week, Owens had been expected to play, and that hope that was buoyed by his return to practice Thursday after missing the team's Wednesday workout.
