The Worst Super Bowl Ever

Well, at least to me it was...a colts fan.

It seemed like the perfect storm of crap that happened for the Saints to win. But that's nothing new, they did it all season. If only Brett hadn't thrown that interception I would be loving life right now.

Oh well, there's always next year.

Don't be so fast to think about next year. The losing team in the Super Bowl hasn't made the playoffs in 9 out of the last 10 seasons, the exception being Arizona this year. Plus a lockout in 2011, is Payton ready for another year in 2012 which could his last or second-to-last season depending on whether or not they want to bring him back. I know one thing he has class and will not draw out his career like Brett Favre trying to get back to the big game. So no 19 seasons with 3 different teams. He will retire as a Colt, on his terms.

And I've been through some bad Super Bowls. Mostly the 1987 with Elway losing to a Redskins that was boosted by replacement player wins their starters never earned and 2002 Super Bowl when the Rams gave away the game to the crappy Patriots. Only to find out they had been cheating for 6 years. Talk about being ripped off?
